Neurodivergent Care

Maybe you know for sure that you're neurodivergent, or perhaps you suspect that you are and you've gone undiagnosed all these years. Whatever your neurodivergent journey, you're probably feeling burnt out.

Living with issues associated with conditions like autism or ADHD makes life extremely difficult, especially without proper accomodations or support.

Most people who seek professional help do so when they feel like things have become unmanageable. Most of the time people call me or e-mail me and they may or may not know why but they are struggling with things like:

  • Chronic exhaustion
  • Feeling completely depleted
  • Finding it difficult to get out of bed
  • Feeling mentally drained
  • Finding it hard to think
  • Finding it difficult to problem solve
  • Finding it difficult to make decisions
  • Having difficulty with changes in routine
  • Having trouble starting or finishing tasks
  • Losing focus or having difficulty concentrating
  • Withdrawing socially or self-isolating
  • Finding it difficult to engage in conversations
  • Feeling like engaging with their loved ones takes too much energy
  • Difficulty managing their emotions
  • Mood swings or irritibility
  • Increased number and/or increasity of meltdowns or shutdowns
  • Feeling on edge more
  • Seeking sensory input more (could be snacking/binge eating or self-harming behaviors)
  • Being bothered by everyday noises, textures, smells, or sights more than usual.
  • Finding a new sensitivity to certain foods.

Many people feel very emotional when they review that list and realize that others experience these things as well. Many neurodivergent folx hold the belief that something is wrong with them because of the way the world has responded to their difficulties.

You are fine just the way you are.

Now let's tackle this together. I provide virtual therapy out of Simpsonville, SC to anyone in the state of South Carolina.
